A few months after the release of Bad Boys Cry, Andrew and Mike from Nervous Records invited me to be part of a tribute compilation dedicated to the legendary Sound Factory club in New York. Among the songs proposed for the project was “Like A Prayer”. And honestly… there was no way I could say no. Madonna has been my biggest inspiration since childhood. I saw her live for the first time in Paris during the Drowned World Tour in 2001 when I was 6 years old, and I’m pretty sure that night changed my life forever. So years later, getting the chance to reinterpret one of her most iconic songs felt very special. Almost 11 years later, seeing this version still growing and reaching 8 million streams is pretty incredible. Thank you to everyone still listening to it today 🖤 @nervousrecords
